Stampstir is not just a collection of postal stamps but a walk down the world history ! Stamps are not just a medium of transfer of information in the older days but also a piece of history. They provide an insight into some of the most influential people, events and monuments of the ancient era.
Stamps were also used in history to make people aware of the most important events / propaganda in the past times as it was amongst the earliest printing media available.
The primary mode of communication in the ancient days was through letters and postal stamps served as the currency for that mode of communication. Every country created their own stamps to subtly transfer information and messages amongst people and also celebrate great achievements or events. Every stamp created by every country, like India has a story to tell and this website is an attempt to unravel that story.
